Voice overs

Having been told, whilst working in telephone support, that "your voice makes me melt in my socks" (amongst various other compliments) it seems only right to offer that voice out to hire.

Unusually deep for a female voice and soft and rounded but with great clarity still. It is a warm, intelligent and friendly voice.

With a partner who is a professional sound recordist with his own kit, completing commissioned work is straightforward. You send in the words and specify whether you'd like it in a normal intelligent warm voice, particularly husky, or girlishly excited, passionate or clinical - whatever you need for your job. Once all details are clear the work will be produced promptly and sent in your chosen format. (aiffs, mp3, wav, on a CD or DVD or uploaded on the net). The other voice-over speciality is a result of Jo's love of animals. Having grown up with a number of cats to whom she talked regularly a variety of miauws and mews are easily accessible... from bawling tom cats to mewling kittenlets they don't call her the Feline Flooz for nothing. The general love of animals, acting and communication has resulted in an ability to emulate most animals well - usually best when given a little time to study them first of course but a basic horse, sheep, donkey and crow are amongst the easy default animals. With of course her beloved cats. Jo and her partner's rural base also means genuine animals are available if you want recordings of skylarks or lambs, cows or farm dogs.

Whether you just need a brief mewing or you want a complete catfight.; a simple lonely bleat of a lost lamb or that surreally continuous blaaaaaah of ambling sheep - or even a full layered farmyard : Jo can do it.
