Extra or Supporting Artist work

Originally having become involved in theatre, extra work seemed the obvious way to understand the differences between a theatre production and working with cameras (also building on the second hand experiences from her sound recordist/aspiring director partner).

Having tried it a couple of times for the experience, it proved enjoyable and, of course, a useful way of bringing in a little income - and so very much more enjoyable than temping in an office.

Having a very manageable ego Jo is perfectly happy being a background player and enjoys using her acting skills to ensure she doesn't stand out unless instructed to and that any action is appropriate and complimentary to the main action.

Jo is currently registered with Mad Dog Casting (Bath and London), Pheonix (Bristol) and with Casting Collective (London). She is also registered with ActNatural (Devon and Cornwall) as she is currently based in Devon.
