The events are, by their nature, only really suited to relatively able bodied adults, older children are welcome on family tickets (not in the bars of the pubs please) and those walking with the aid of a stick and able to get over a stile or two will be fine, however young children in pushchair, and those confined to wheelchairs are likely to have problems by the very nature of the landscape we pass through. If you have any doubts please contact us and check.

Provisional Schedule:

This is subject to change if necessary (Lechlade tour used as example - Honeystreet will be essentially the same):

Friday night,: people arrive, pitch tents, have tea, discover the real ales etc. Meet and greet chat session to welcome everyone, people order dinners and beers, handouts for the weekend are distributed and full schedule confirmed. Short light entertainments including a short slot from Longshanks and Talesman.

Saturday day time - 5 to 6 hours Performance Archaeology walk. Bring nibbles and something to sit on (shooting stick, carrier bag, picnic blanket or just your bum - dependent on how much you want to carry) Short drive to get to the start of the walk. Work up a good appetite for supper with all that fresh air and exercise!

Saturday night - historic music and entertainment from Rigantona ,(medieval, napoleonic and viking), intermissions of stories and poems from The Travelling Talesman and friends, further opportunities to order absolutely delicious food and tasty ales. Followed by a late night storytelling session around the camp fire at the very end of the night.

Sunday day time - second performance archaeology walk (3 - 4 hours) which runs from the camp site. Back blate afternoon to take down tents etc and leave. By the end of the sunday afternoon everyone should be packed up and gone. Anyone wanting to camp for longer should let us know so we can inform the landlord.
