LONGSHANKS AND TALESMAN ~ Stroll Through The Celtic Age 5.5 miles / 5.5 hrs On the Thames Path National Trail A long lazy stroll by the Thames. You will see an Iron Age Hillfort, a Roman Road, and a reconstructed Roundhouse. We will enter a Celtic city that became a Roman town, and then a grave for Saxons. You will follow the adventures of Celtic hero Cuchulain. And meet with Iron Age people, the Emperors of Roman Britain, a God and a Goddess. There is a pub placed halfway round our route.
