LONGSHANKS AND TALESMAN ~ A Medieval Mystery 3.5 miles / 4 hrs. On the Thames Path National Trail. Longshanks and Talesman bring you a walk with two medieval "whodunnits" to solve; one a story the other archaeology. A short, flat circular walk along the Thames; taking you through a deserted Medieval village, two encounters with a famous poet, a 13th century church with rare wall paintings, a disused canal link, and "Old Father Thames".
